Agreement

By using Nitpick (the browser extension and/or the Nitpick Cloud service), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What Nitpick provides

Nitpick is a design feedback tool. The free browser extension lets you annotate elements on web pages and generate structured prompts for AI coding agents. Nitpick Cloud (paid) adds cross-device sync, team workspaces, and OAuth integrations.

Accounts

Nitpick Cloud requires a GitHub account for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nitpick.

Free tier

The browser extension is free to use with no account required. All local features (element picker, annotations, AI prompt generation, clipboard export, ticket creation with your own API keys) are available at no cost.

Paid plans

Nitpick Cloud offers paid plans (Pro and Team) billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed at nitpick.click and in the Nitpick Cloud dashboard.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@nitpick.click.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until renewal.

Your data

• You own your annotations and feedback content.
• You grant Nitpick a license to store and transmit your data as needed to provide the service.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
• See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Acceptable use

Don't use Nitpick to:

• Violate any laws or regulations.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from websites in violation of their terms.
• Abuse the API or sync service (excessive automated requests, denial-of-service attempts).
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• Store or transmit malicious content through annotations.

API keys

When you provide API keys for third-party services (Anthropic, OpenAI, Linear), those keys are stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for the security and usage of your own API keys. Nitpick is not liable for charges incurred on your third-party accounts.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uptime. The service is provided "as is." We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.

Limitation of liability

Nitpick is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nitpick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Termination

You can stop using Nitpick at any time by uninstalling the extension and/or canceling your cloud subscription. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms, with notice when practical.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via the website or email.
